HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. It was different not having all my family and friends close. I hung out with my roommate, Ed, and my work friends. I cooked a roast (a first for me). I had a pretty nice time, even if it was uneventful.

So, it's now 2007. I went down to the river on New Year's Eve for the festivities (after working 'til 9pm). They had a HUGE section of the South Bank Riverwalk cordoned off, and there were tremendous crowds. I met Toto and Michelle down there. Ed was a bum and stayed home. At midnight, there were fireworks. The whole "t-shirt and shorts" thing was odd for me, in the middle of January. More odd was not being around to celebrate the birthday of my best friend Ross. I took 234 photos of the fireworks, hoping that, by sheer force of numbers, I'd get some shots that turned out well. Also, the Treasury casino building looks quite pretty lit up at night.
